This fantastic early, authentic European, Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was supplied from new to Mr Luigi Turano of Rome, Italy sometime in 1968. 10 Years later, on the 5th of June 1978, Mr Turano sold the car to a Mr John 0`Boyle of Redwood city, California. Mr 0` Boyle kept the car for nearly 20 years before he sold it on to the one but last owner, on the 11th October 1997. This Ferrari has extensive documentation including many invoices and even the 1978 export documents. The car has benefitted from complete restoration and mechanical overhaul in the past. Original engine, so Matching Numbers! This quite stunning model, aka the Queen Mary, of which only 800 were ever produced, is a Pininfarina design, who created a far sleeker and aerodynamic car in comparison to its predecessors. This ultimate “Gentleman`s GT” has been finished in the original colour combination of “Blu Sera” and “Crema” leather trim in perfect condition. The fantastic bodywork has extremely well fitted body panels. The underbody is, of course, rust-free. Noteworthy are the 365`s original aluminium rims and the fact that this was the first Ferrari model with factory fitted power steering and aircon. Mechanically flawless and in excellent working order, this 365 will deliver many miles of unrivalled motoring.
