Beschreibung

When the 360 Modena was nearly four years old Ferrari wanted to homologate some improvements for their GTC racer and thus the 360 Challenge Stradale was introduced. The Challenge Stradale weighs in at just 20kg more than the Challenge and a staggering 110 Kg less than a standard Modena resulting in a dramatic performance increase.
The Stradale features a host of aero and mechanical refinements that combine to make it 3.5 seconds faster around Fiorano than an ordinary Modena.
Modifications include Carbon Ceramic brakes as standard, a 50% lighter multi-axial carbon floor plan, a 25 BHP increase in power, aerodynamic tweaks allowing for up to 50% more vertical loading (including a different bumper, boot lid and sills as well as venturi ducts at the rear), carbon racing seats with 4 point harnesses, a stripped-out interior with Alcantara dash and carbon door cards as standard and an F1 gearbox with shift times of just 150 milliseconds to name but a few.

This stunning Challenge Stradale is one of c.10 European supplied examples delivered in Bianco Avus, of which half were supplied from the factory with a stripe. Delivered in its purest form, and further distinguishing this car from others, it was specified with the hugely rare Lexan sliding windows. These windows, of which approximately only 3% of cars were fitted with have become highly desirable, not least because of their links to the fabled F40, the "Godfather of Supercars"; very few Ferrari road cars ever produced have been fitted with these super iconic sliding windows.

First delivered to Germany by supplying dealership A.Gohm GmbH of Singen in March 2004, this example is finished in Bianco Avus with Nero Brake calipers. Inside the car is optioned with Rosso Alcantara seats with stitched Nero Cavallinos. Delivered in its purest form, this car was specified with the hugely rare Lexan sliding windows. These windows, of which approximately only 3% (c.90)cars were fitted with have become highly desirable, not least because of their links to the Fabled F40, the "Godfather of Supercars"; very few Ferrari road cars ever produced have been fitted with these super iconic sliding windows.

Sourced by DK Engineering in August 2019 to form a part of a significant European collection, this example has been used extremely sparingly since. UK registered, this example returns to us with just a handful more kilometres than when it left. This superb example of a 360 Challenge Stradale today presents with just 2,100 kilometres (1,300 miles).

Available to view by appointment at our showrooms outside of London immediately, this example presents with its complete book pack, cover and spare key. A very rare opportunity to acquire a superb example, in a particularly sought-after specification of what is regarded by many as the first of the now legendary, pared-back Ferrari V8 road-racers.
