Leonardo Fiovaranti was in charge of the design of the Ferrari 348TS and it shows. It is therefore no coincidence that enthusiasts of the brand refer to the 348TS as "baby Testarossa". There are certainly similarities. In addition, he also took inspiration from the Ferrari F40, there are worse examples, right? This example was delivered new in 1991 in Bari in Italy and has been in the Netherlands for quite some time now. The car has only 61,000 kilometers on the clock and is in very good condition, the car is also still equipped with its original engine, so this is a matching numbers Ferrari 348TS.

The bodywork looks beautiful. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The plastic parts are only very well cared for and the removable Targa roof also fits beautifully everywhere and is easy to install and remove. The car stands on the original wheels that are free of damage and has good tires in the correct sizes. The Rosso Corsa paint is in very good condition and only has some very light signs of use. The folding headlights are also in very good condition.

The interior is upholstered in black leather and black carpets. The interior of the Ferrai looks beautiful as you would expect from a car with such a low mileage. The leather has always been well maintained and is still wonderfully supple. The carpets in the trunk in the nose of the Ferrari also look neat. The instruments and controls all look great and function as they should. The black leather on the dashboard is also still neatly cared for.

Technique is, of course, the star of the show with a Ferrari. The flatplane V8 is longitudinally centered and mated to a precision-shifting 5-speed manual transmission. The motot is 3.4 liters in size and produces 300 horsepower at 7,200 rpm. The 348TS goes from 0-100 in 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 267 kilometers per hour. The car also has, of course, fully independent wheel suspension and ABS. The technology has always been well maintained and that, in combination with the low mileage, means that the engine is still in top condition. The driving experience of a mid-engine is unlike anything else. When the V8 comes up to speed, the sound is insane and you notice that you are on the road with a real purebred horse. The Ferrari must of course be driven a bit up to speed to be able to use the maximum power, but it is also a car that you can effortlessly drive at great speeds.

The car was recently serviced and the timing belts were also renewed. So you can enjoy turn-key Ferrari 348TS driving pleasure for many years to come.
