Beschreibung
Introduced at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari 330 GTC is widely regarded as one of Maranello’s finest grand tourers of the 1960s. Combining elegant Pininfarina coachwork with a 4.0-litre Colombo-derived V12 producing approximately 300 hp, a five-speed transaxle and fully independent suspension, it offered an exceptional balance of performance, refinement and usability. Just 598 examples were produced between 1966 and 1968.
Completed in May 1967, chassis 9869 is the 218th 330 GTC produced and was originally finished in the particularly elegant combination of Azzurro 19278 M Italver over Pelle Nero Franzi. It is one of only 54 330 GTC chassis originally produced in this exterior colour. Delivered new through Ferrari’s Swiss importer SAVAF in Geneva, the car subsequently spent much of its life in France.
Between 2015 and 2021, chassis 9869 underwent a comprehensive restoration, with its mechanical work entrusted to Toni Auto in Maranello and the car returned to its original Azzurro and Nero specification. Further maintenance has been carried out since completion, most recently by Jean Lain Autosport in February 2026.
Beautifully presented in its rare original colour combination and accompanied by a well-documented history, chassis 9869 is an especially attractive example of one of Ferrari’s most elegant and accomplished classic V12 grand tourers.
