Beschreibung
We get some real bobby dazzlers through our doors and when we were given the opportunity to offer this remarkable 328 GTS we jumped!
She had just had nearly €40,000 spent at Pozzi in Paris who went through the whole car mechanically changing every belt, pump, tensioner, rear discs, calipers & pads, exhaust silencer, radiator, adjusted the valves, new wishbones, steering rack sleeves and more. In fact I think the only thing that wasn't changed were the front discs
What was even more remarkable was that the invoice from Pozzi, Ferrari's main agent in France, had the cars date of first registration in 2006 which coordinated with what we were told by the previous owner
Imagine finding a brand new 328 GTS in 2006, a genuine example of 'NEW OLD STOCK'
She had clearly been stored in a good environment because the condition of the paint & glass today is simply fantastic
The 328 is all about the driving experience hence it's the GTS you want for the full immersive experience, the chassis is firm, the steering is intuitive, the clutch is light and the damping is very good. Naturally it's a Ferrari so the pedals and the steering wheel don't quite line up perfectly but whats at the other end of the pedals means you really don't care
The exhaust note is stunning and the 3.2litre engine a real joy spinning up quickly with the gated 'shifter' clicking like a well made gun with every change
She will propel you at a rate quick enough for you to sit up and take note, 0-60 in around 6 seconds and onto 163mph climbing with consistent alacrity the whole way. The fact that this particular car is the later version with ABS is, therefore, pleasingly reassuring
The cabin is surprisingly spacious and the boot equally so, a long weekend away's worth of luggage quite easily fits
For the modest price that these currently command how could you say no?
