1984 rebodied Ferrari 308, presented in Rosso Corsa and Nero interior; Commissioned by its current owner and built by one of the UK’s leading independent Ferrari specialists, QV of London, this project was a real labour of love and took four years from start to completion, using rare and no longer available original Ferrari OEM parts throughout; All panels were produced from moulds taken from an original 288 GTO; The donor car was a US spec 308 QV; Powered by a Ferrari 348 normally-aspirated engine longitudinally mounted, 348 gearbox; the Omex ECU has been re-mapped All hinges, mirrors, louvres and badges are correct to the original GTO spec; All mechanical parts have either been renewed or overhauled/re-built; Wheels and tyres are brand new; Re-upholstering of the seats in black leather and the re-trimming of the dash and door cards in Alcantara. The car's current logbook/V5 describes it marked as a "Ferrari Sports" and DVLA allocated its registration number which is age-appropriate. The car is currently showing 64,100 miles and the MOT expires 13th June 2023; QV of London serviced the car in February this year where the cambelts were also changed and it has since had new rear brake calipers and handbrake mechanism.
