En effet, ce modèle GTS a carburateurs, des plus recherchés, fut vendu neuf par le biais du Garage Mercier, alors concessionnaire Ferrari à Bordeaux, et immatriculé le 21 aout 1980 par son premier propriétaire, un certain Mr. Reynard. En 1982, Mr. Reynard se sépare de sa Ferrari et la cède à Mr. Vachon, alors concessionnaire BMW a Corbeille Essonne, en région Parisienne. Des lors commence une grande histoire d’amour entre Mr. Vachon et sa Ferrari, puisqu’il la gardera jusqu’en 2013, soit plus de 21 ans ! Durant cette période, Mr. Vachon porte grand soin a son automobile, en confirme les nombreuses factures relatives a l’entretiens et la maintenance de cette Ferrari 308 GTS. C’est en Aout 2013 que Mr. Vachon se sépare de sa Ferrari et la vends à son troisième et dernier propriétaire, Monsieur Vaccalut, de Vienne, aujourd’hui décédé.
