First of all, the wedge-shaped styled lines, thin window pillars and low nose were not seen on the earlier Ferraris designed by Pininfarina.

Then the engine: the first 308s were presented to the public in 1973 and marked the start of a new trend for Ferrari: the V8! A wonderful, smooth 3.0 litre engine with enough power and a incredible sound. The 308GT4 has very good driving characteristics and is fast and sporty combined with comfort. The car is easy to drive thanks in part to the direct steering and the good, properly shifting 5-speed gearbox.
