Beschreibung

This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .This Ferrari in Rosso Corsa and signed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, is in many ways an exception to most well-known Ferraris. First of all, the wedge-shaped styled lines, thin window pillars and low nose were not seen on the earlier Ferraris designed by Pininfarina.

Then the engine: the first 308s were presented to the public in 1973 and marked the start of a new trend for Ferrari: the V8! A wonderful, smooth 3.0 litre engine with enough power and a incredible sound. The 308GT4 has very good driving characteristics and is fast and sporty combined with comfort. The car is easy to drive thanks in part to the direct steering and the good, properly shifting 5-speed gearbox.

The interior is spacious, the seats are perfect and the car has good roadholding: you remain fully in control in sharp corners. Probably because Niki Lauda helped develop the chassis!

This particular car has had 3 owners, no expense or effort was spared to get the car in perfect condition and to keep it that way. It was resprayed a few years ago and the paint still looks nice. The interior looks like new and the mechanics have been well maintained: it’s obvious from the numerous maintenance invoices for the engine, carbureration, ignition, fuel lines, brake system, etc. The most recent service was in April this year, a new Dutch periodic inspection was also carried out.

And if you fancy a read: it even has the original manual!

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are looking for an exceptionally beautiful, but above all technically good and particularly easy to drive Ferrari, as well as not wanting to spend hundreds of thousands of euros but still want a stable and rising investment. A beautiful article about this car was published in 2018 in a well-known Dutch classic car magazine. The car is in Bussum, The Netherlands. It can be shipped to you if needed.

It is recommended to view the car prior to placing a bid in order to prevent disappointment. Please contact Catawiki to schedule an appointment.
