This Ferrari 250 GTE (chassis #3791 and engine #3791) was delivered new in September 1962 in France to its first owner, Mr Vaysse, who kept the car for a long time. The second owner bought the car in 2000 and the current owner, also French, has owned the car for two years.

In addition to its particularly clear history, this 250 GTE has matching numbers and colours. The paintwork is mostly original and the upholstery is also original (foam, carpets and seats have been redone). This car is in very good overall condition and is true to its original state.

The car has a beautiful patina and it has become rare to find a 250 GTE in such an authentic condition while being in very good health: healthy chassis/underbody, no corrosion, original glazing, original lights and chrome, etc.

This 250 GTE has its original Borrani wheels, all its on-board accessories and all the on-board instruments are functional. The engine compression is very good, the engine block/gearbox is watertight and the car runs smoothly.

The car has been carefully maintained (complete mechanical restoration 20 years ago, regular maintenance since then) and has undergone significant expenditure prior to sale:
