This mythical Ferrari 250GT Tour de France left the factory on March 30th 1958. At its wheel, several renowned drivers successfully participated in numerous races - amongst the 37 Ferrari 250 Berlinetta Passo Lungo (LWB), more commonly known as Tour de France, chassis 0899GT has collected the most competition trophies. With notable wins at the 1958 Coppa della Consuma hillclimb and a week later another 1st at the Varese-Campo dei Fiori hillclimb, 0899GT competed extensively in the late 1950s. with an entry to the Mille Miglia and many national events throughout Italy, with Eduardo Lualdi Galardi (otherwise known as "Lualdi”), Nando Pagliarini & Paul Mounier at the wheel.
