1974 Ferrari 246 GT Dino
Giallo Fly Yellow, Black Leather Daytona Seats( from factory )
Matching Numbers Car
Here we have a wonderful example of an original European specification Ferrari 246 GT Dino which was delivered new to Italy in 1973 and was very fortunate to have moved from the warm and sunny Italian climate to the even sunnier Californian climate in 1978.
The car would remain in the US until 1990 when it was imported back into Germany.
The car was fully restored by respected Ferrari Specialists Modena Motorsport and painted in Giallo Fly yellow with the interior trimmed in Black leather.
The restoration was done to an exceptionally high standard and the car has been very well looked after ever since and was fortunate enough to spend the last nine years living in the sunny climate of Toulouse.
The quality of the restoration is quite evident given that it has now been completed for over twenty years and still looks stunning. The shut lines are very good, and the paint still presents remarkably well indeed.
The quality of the interior restoration is where the car really shines in that the leather is still exceptionally soft and subtle, and the stitch work is phenomenal. The dashboard was chosen to be trimmed in the same black leather which looks and feels superb.
The car starts keenly even from cold and once warmed through the gears are light and precise.
The brakes stop the car remarkably well and the steering is wonderfully exact.
All in all this is a fabulous example of a delightful drivers car just waiting to put a smile on the face of the lucky new owner.
