1961 Citroen HZ Van.
Coffee Truck.
Ready to go.
Offering our customers an investment opportunity is an everyday part of what we do at Shannons. But offering a ready-to-go business opportunity is not so common! Here we have a fabulous 1961 Citroen HZ Van fully equipped and ready to go as a mobile coffee business. What’s more, this evocative French catering van is also fitted out with the equipment to dispense Prosecco, Draught Beer and Cider! Originating in France, the ‘Little Brass Van’ did a stint in the UK before arriving in Perth to begin its life serving Australians. Whilst doing a stint in Perth the ‘Little Brass Van’ got some endorsement from non-other than Legendary Front man of the Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, to test out the taps whilst parked out front of their concert. Fully set-up inside with a massive SAB coffee machine (worth $7K), three taps to dispense alcohol, an on-board generator, waste tanks and serving counters, the Citroen also has a full-sized serving window on the left-hand side and a roof rack for storage. Still in its original left-hand drive, the ‘Little Brass Van’ is finished in an (appropriate) coffee brown colour, which is showing some patina and could do with a freshen up, while there’s also some damage to the corner of the serving window panel and surface rust to the roof rack. Inside, it’s fully timber lined (including the headlining) and there’s two mismatched bucket seats up front, the driver’s trimmed in brown vinyl and the passenger’s (which is missing its springs) in black. The Citron Van, actually comes with the Trading Licence to trade under “Little Brass Van” for the potential buyer which seems fitting for how the van is presented. This ’61 Citroen HZ van looks fantastic and would stand out from the crowd in any assembly of food trucks. We love it! It comes with its 2017 Import papers, plenty of receipts for work done and a Parts Manual. Previously on West Australian registration, the 1961 Citroen HZ catering van is being offered for sale here unregistered.
