Delivered by the Citroën agency Auto Center AG in Aarwangen, this Citroën has had only one registered owner to this day. The handover of the GS in the more luxurious “Club” edition with a 1’222 cc 4-cylinder boxer engine and 60 hp took place on the 15th May 1976 followed by a first registration on the 19th. Following current fashion, the first owner had a glass sunroof from the Happich company installed in 1982, back then a rather expensive undertaking. The service booklet and the emission control document indicate that the little saloon was probably only used as a Sunday driver, resulting in a mere 30’500 kilometres shown when the car was deregistered in July 1994. After this the Citroën was added to the collection of the garage who had sold the car new. There the GS was finally taken over by the vendor in October 2021 and integrated into his little collection. He eventually had the coachwork repainted in the original colour and had the springs overhauled together with fitting new tyres. With now 31’200 kilometres and a documented history the GS Club presents itself in good to very good and very original condition with the last MOT completed in May 1992.
