Introduced in 1948, the Citroën 2CV became a fixture of French life thanks to its simple construction, long-travel suspension, and ability to cope with rough roads. A 602 cc 2CV arrived in 1970, bringing more performance while preserving the lightness, simplicity, and character that carried the 2CV through the end of production in 1990.
