This Chrysler Le Baron was purchased in 1999 by the late Jean-Michel CEREDE, a well-known figure in the world of vintage cars and a famous insurer. Enjoying the comfort of the car, he used it regularly at the end of his life, for accompanying many vintage and classic car rallies. The car was maintained by tablissements Coste, in Nanterre.
The prestigious appellation "Le Baron" appeared for the first time in the 1930s specifically for Chryslers that were highly luxurious, and since then the name has remained a significant model for the brand. This model has the most powerful engine available at that time, in this range, a V6 3-liter that is flexible and durable, and which mated to an automatic, allows for relaxed cruising. Luxuriously finished, this car comes equipped with a double-lined soft top that works electrically, air conditioning and a radio. The interior, which features beautiful burgundy upholstery, is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which is unusual for a convertible. In good condition and showing just 73,000 km, it is still capable of providing many years of enjoyable use.
