The Model: While Ford might have beat Chevrolet to the market for a passenger car based pickup, the BowTie boys had to show the Blue Oval group how it was done, especially with their Chevelle based editions. One of the most respected members of the musclecar family was the 1967 Chevelle, with its sharp forward sweeping styling and just about any performance package you could imagine. That year, just about any option you could order for the regular passenger car models could also be found in the El Camino. Featuring top-shelf engineering and styling that was nearly impossible to beat, these vehicles were just too tempting to leave as a pure stocker. However, very important is keeping the original appearance is critical for those looking at the perfect mix of nostalgia along with modern components in a vintage vehicle.

The Car: Featuring a fairly recent build, this El Camino is finished in a bright Canary Yellow with the stock black vinyl bench seats. Under the hood is where the magic lies with a 350 small-block V8 topped off with Edelbrock intake,four-barrel carburetor and air filter housing, as well as decorative signature aluminum valve covers. Body work on this car is top-quality all around with smooth panels and perfect fitting doors, hood and even the tailgate. Another important upgrade is the front disc brakes up front while retaining drums to the rear. Also retained was the original factory air-conditioning from condenser to compressor. Glass, chrome and other bright metal trim are in very good to excellent condition. Reported to being quite capable of lighting up the tires when needed, this pickup is able to cruise all day long. A perfect blend of old meets new, this El Camino is ready for you.
