Beschreibung

"In April 2016 at the Geneva Auto Show, Tadge Juechter, the chief engineer on the C7, introduced the new Grand Sport model for 2017. The Grand Sport was a hybrid of the Z51 Stingray and the Z06; sharing much of the wide body work of the Z06 (except the bonnet) with the Z51 LT1 dry sump engine. In line with all previous Grand Sports, this new C7-based version represents a significant development from the standard Stingray, using the Z06’s wide body chassis, uprated suspension and tyres whilst retaining the exceptionally characterful dry-sumped V8. This gives the car a fantastic blend of performance and usability with a delightful chassis, meaning you can use all of the available power and performance without huge risk or consequence, making it not only the sweet spot of the ‘Vette’ mini range but also one of the most pleasing, well-balanced everyday performance cars you can buy.
The Grand Sport on offer here has only had one owner and has been meticulously maintained having only covered a mere 1,288 miles. Regardless of mileage, it has been serviced every year by Ian Allan Motors in Virginia Waters, (where the car was purchased from). The vendor spent £92,698 on his highly optioned dream car. Not to be confused with inferior models, this car was ordered with the Z07 performance package which includes a carbon fibre front splitter, carbon fibre side skirts and some additional flicks on the rear spoiler at a cost of £11,250. Other options include items such as; ceramic brakes, black Nappa leather seating surfaces with yellow stitching, steering wheel and gearshift in suede microfiber, Bose premium audio system, carbon removable roof, wing hash marks in Velocity Yellow, yellow brake calipers, front and rear view cameras, performance data recorder, SatNav, 19 front and 20 rear Pearl Nickel aluminium Cup Wheels sporting Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, full colour head up display, not to mention investing almost £6,000 in a fully protected PPF (Paint Protection Film) over the entire car. This 466bhp rocket is presented in ‘as new’ condition and represents a truly rare opportunity to acquire a UK supplied, fantastically optioned piece of American automotive history. Under warranty until September 2020, this car is supplied with its V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid through until August 2020, has a tracker fitted, comes with a fully stamped service history booklet and all receipts including its purchase receipt offering huge bang for the buck."
