"The Corvette was built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors over six generations. The first model, a convertible, was designed by Harley Earl and introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. The National Corvette Museum documents the car's worldwide history and hosts an annual event. The third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and lasted until 1982. The fourth generation Corvette was the first all-new Corvette since 1963, with production beginning on 3rd January, 1983 and delivery to customers from March, 1983. The C4 Corvette was known for its evolved, sleek and modern look and was also the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback for better storage access. It also had all new brakes with aluminium calipers. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display dash and graphics for speed, RPM and digital displays for other important engine functions.
This handsome Corvette C4 was manufactured in 1998 and was first registered in the UK in November 2018. Finished in green with a tan leather interior, this car is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate. The figure hugging seats and reasonable storage space make this American muscle car a user friendly powerhouse. Having covered relatively few miles for a modern sports car, this fun C4 can be considered fantastic value being offered to auction at no reserve."
