The third generation Corvette is based on the Mako Shark II concept car. The C3 was introduced in model year 1968 and production continued until 1982. The C3 coupé was the first Corvette with removable T-top roof panels. Terms were used which would later return, such as LT-1, ZR-1, and Collector Edition.

The Corvette C3 is seen less and less often and is becoming a rarity on the streets, especially the more sought after version with the small bumper such as this one (1978 was the penultimate year with the small bumper). This is a car that starts straight away, idles nicely at 800 RPM, stops well, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears.

What makes this Corvette special is that it is an entirely original '25th Anniversary' version. The colour codes and interior codes match and are correct; 13U/07M Silver Anniversary paint / 72C Medium Red interior, a MUST for the real enthusiast.

Seats reupholstered in the recent past and therefore the interior is still in very neat condition. The paint is still in relatively neat condition but has various signs of wear up close (see photos).
