Racing fans will recognize Morrison’s name as a co-driver with Tony DeLorenzo’s Owens-Corning Corvette team and the 1977 SCCA A-Production National champion. Subsequent owners include Mark Brown, Bill Gagliano, and Tommy Thompson.

Featuring blue and yellow Sunoco-style livery and 1960s Thompson Pontiac sponsorship graphics, this potent vintage racer is powered by a 331 cid Chevy small block built by Shaver Specialties, including CNC-ported GM iron heads, a factory intake, Holley carburetor, roller cam, plain rockers, and electronic ignition. A race-prepped, “S” ratio Super T10 four-speed manual gearbox sends the power via a Quarter Master 7.25 clutch to a 12-bolt, 3.73:1 rear end by Tom’s Differentials, including a stock Corvette 10-bolt housing and billet axles. Brakes are RPO J56-style, with dual-pin calipers and stock rotors. This proven racer has competed at many top venues, including the Coronado Speed Festival, Monterey Historic, Mid-Ohio, Moroso Motorsports Park, and Road America.
