The Corvette (C1) bodywork got a serious facelift in 1961. A new simple grille and a totally different rear design gave a nice indication of things to come. The first year with four round tail lights, this would become a Corvette tradition. The exhausts emerged for the first time from underneath the body instead of from the bodywork through the back panels. This model C1 was only manufactured for 2 years and only 14,531 units were delivered in 1962.

The Corvette C1 is becoming less and less common and a rarity in the streetscape, especially the sought-after version with red paint and a black interior, the only real Corvette combination.

This car starts straight away, idles nicely, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears. the car is equipped with power steering, an engine with an Edelbrock intake and four-barrel Edelbrock carburettor that provides enough power (approx 300 HP!) The original interior still looks very fresh. The Corvette still has great red paint and was fitted in the past with a new soft-top. Recently fitted with new brakes, a complete dual stainless steel exhaust system and new whitewall tyres.
