This lovely 1962 Corvette C1 is a true American icon and has been restored to very high level. We imported this Corvette straight from the States. Evidence of a life spent in the warm Nevada climate is clear to see. The “Roman Red” finish is in very good condition. The bodywork has correct shut lines and the chassis is completely rust-free. The original black interior trim is spotless and has a great patina. This Corvette C1 has the best spec’s with its L84 327 cubic inch small block V8 engine and Rochester Products 7360 fuel injection coupled with a manual Borg-Warner 4-speed gearbox. The fuel injection system allows the V8 to run perfectly. Only 1,918 buyers chose this now very desirable option back in 1962. The Rochester Products 7360 fuel injection system utilises a flat-top inlet manifold that according to Corvette enthusiasts and aficionados is the best fuel injection system thinkable for this generation of Corvette’s. The L84 V8 engine with solid lifters produces 360 Hp thanks to its fuel injector. Our Corvette is a matching numbers car and comes with a hardtop.
