- Corvette C1 « Phase 2 » absolument rarissime sur le marché, un must pour tout collectionneur d’autos des années 1950 et pour tout passionné souhaitant un élégant roadster pour cruiser cet été !
- Cette auto fut achetée en 1972 par un certain Rex A. Stacy, professeur dans le Nebraska, qui la conservera jusqu’à son décès en 1999 ; il passera les 27 ans de propriété à enquêter sur le passé de sa voiture pour lui offrir la restauration parfaite (important dossier d’échanges d’isponible)
- Dossier historique absolument passionnant résumant l’histoire de notre auto jusqu’en 1962 en Californie : une demande avait été envoyée par Rex A. Stacy auprès de Michael Hunt, historien du modèle, pour retracer l’histoire de la voiture
- D’après le dossier, la voiture était rouge à flancs beige au début des années 1960 avant d’être repeinte dans la teinte actuelle, Aztec Cooper Metallic ; la sellerie présente quant à elle une très belle patine, et le rarissime hard-top sera repeint pour la vente et aurait été rajouté en 1962 suite à une aventure rocambolesque racontée dans le dossier…
- Etat de fonctionnement satisfaisant, auto très agréable à conduire avec cette boîte de vitesse automatique, maintenue en état depuis 2018 par son propriétaire actuel, fin collectionneur
