Appearing in 1953, the Chevrolet Corvette would have a long life and thus become the American sports car par excellence. First equipped with a 150 horsepower Blueflame six-cylinder inline, it was then fitted with a V8, and this, from 1955 while its lines subtly evolved over the years.
The Corvette C1, 6 cylinders were only produced for two years, in total only 3634 copies will be produced. American answer to European sports cars, the Corvette remains today a myth of the American automobile.
The copy that we offer you was imported into France in the 2000s, it was subsequently restored (invoices absent). Its current owner acquired it a few years ago through Franco Lambo.
A true monument of automotive design, the Corvette C1 in its first version presents a certain purity in the line, something that will not be seen again on a Corvette thereafter.
Rare in France, this example in good general condition is an opportunity not to be missed for any collector.
