1946 Buick Super 8

Imported from the USA in 2017, this sedan had been restored keeping its original mechanics.
8-cylinder in-line Fireball 8 engine generating 110 hp with a torque of 279 Nm.

All chrome parts were restored before the car was imported. It was repainted in two tones of blue.

In 2020, it was imported to Denmark, where it was upgraded to comply with local regulations by a professional in order to be registered in Europe.
It is certified as a 6-seater.

- The underbody, brakes, electrical and braking systems were redone at that time,
all in the original 6V electrical system.
- The Buick starts, brakes and drives perfectly.
- The three gears shift easily.
- This vehicle is regularly driven between May and August, only in good weather and is stored in a garage.

The Buick is the centre of attention during weekend outings, and has regularly won awards in local gatherings of historical cars.

Repairs needed:
A few elements need to be taken care of to make this Super 8 perfect.
The radio has not been restored. It is the original radio and needs to be put back into working order if necessary.
One of the rear windows has a minor crack.

The Buick can be seen in Vadum (9430) in Denmark.

According to local laws, the Danish plates will have to be removed before picking up the car.
