"The Z3 was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW. It was introduced as a 1996 model year vehicle, shortly after being featured in the James Bond movie 'Goldeneye'. While the film was number one at the box office, sales of the car peaked, and it was sold out by the time the car was launched. Along with the styling cues, BMW’s Motorsports division took the Z3 and shoehorned in the famous S50B32 straight six-cylinder engine from the BMW E36 M3, upping the power to 321bhp and being the first engine to offer 1bhp per cubic centimetre.
This example is presented in the iconic colour of Estoril Blue with a matching Estoril Blue and black two-tone leather interior. The car presents in excellent order throughout, thanks to its incredibly low mileage of just 21,390, an average of less than 1,000 miles per year, clearly showing it has been cherished and used sparingly throughout its entire life. The service history is impressive, with evidence of the all-important running in service having been completed in July 2000 at 1,401 miles. A further six services have been carried out, with the most recent being in June 2021, just 600 miles ago. The car is also supplied with an Estoril Blue hardtop.
