A practical daily driver or a sports car? The BMW M5 is both. The M5 introduced the concept of the 'über saloon' and is better than ever with the latest generation. This 2018 Collectable has just under 70,000 km on the odometer. Thanks to the color Singapur Grau Metallic, this M5 has an understated appearance that makes it perfectly suitable as a daily driver.

If you're looking for the ultimate sports sedan, you can't go wrong with the BMW M5. BMW has set the tone with this model for six generations. Even more than the previous generations, the latest M5 is suitable as a daily driver, but the sporty character has certainly not been lost. On the contrary.

What distinguishes the latest M5 from its predecessors is the fact that it has four-wheel drive. An M5 that isn't purely rear-wheel drive may sound like blasfemy, but this move has only made the M5 a better performance car. You have the advantages of four-wheel drive, but you can turn it into a 100% rear-wheel drive car with the push of a button. Then you should also turn off the ESP, if you dare.

The four-wheel drive ensures that the M5 has become a real sprinter. Along with the fact that the M5 has 600hp and 750Nm of torque. This means that the M5 can reach 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. That's a full second faster than the previous generation. You can reach 200 km/h in 11 seconds.

Despite the fact that the M5 has grown a bit and has four-wheel drive, the car is still lighter than the previous M5. This is partly due to the roof made of CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced plastic).

Despite its spectacular performance, this M5 is not a 'look at me' car. Not in this version anyway. In the color Singapur Grau Metallic it is simply a representative business sedan. You could almost call it a sleeper, were it not for the fact that four exhausts are poking out of the rear bumper. They also bring a matching sound to this M5, because they are the optional M Sport exhausts.

Speaking of options: this M5 is equipped with, among other things, the M multifunctional seats, heated seats at the front and rear, Driving Assistant Plus and the Bowers & Wilkins High End Sound System. This makes the M5 a very pleasant car for daily use.
