Following in the footsteps of the E92 M3 GTS, the new M4 GTS represented the pinnacle of performance for the F82 generation 3 Series at the time of launch. Bred for the circuit, the model featured an advanced version of the M3’s turbocharged inline-six, with a water-injection system that contributed to a headline power figure of 500 horsepower. A carbon fibre bonnet and boot lid helped to keep weight down, while an adjustable front splitter and rear wing allowed the car to be optimised for track work. Indeed, the model became the fastest production M car to tackle the Nürburgring, lapping the circuit in just 7 minutes, 28 seconds.

Approximately 700 examples of the M4 GTS left BMW’s Garching works, among them this example, which was delivered new via Procar Köln-West and first registered to the consigning seller on 20 May 2016. The car was specified with Frozen Dark Grey paintwork—a €3,300 optional extra—in addition to 19-inch M LM “437” wheels, parking sensors, and “Professional” navigation system.

Invoices detail services carried out by BMW on 31 May 2016, 17 May 2019, 25 June 2021, and 18 April 2023, while the odometer read 19,330 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. The car is accompanied by a BMW car cover, chassis adjustment tools, fire extinguisher, and seatbelts.
