The BMW i8 plug in hybrid sports car was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show with customer deliveries commencing in June 2014. Boasting cutting edge design and utilising all the latest technology including a carbon fibre lightweight passenger cell. The i8 is powered by a 1.5 litre twin turbo three-cylinder petrol engine along with a hybrid synchronous motor offering a combined 357bhp. This propelled the car from 0-62mph in just 4.4 secs and onto a limited 155 mph.
