In 1989, at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, BMW unveiled its BMW 850i (produced until 1999). It was designed by Klaus Kapitza. Its plunging hood, full-fledged lines and lack of pillars give it a wild elegance and exceptional dynamics. If its looks are enough to seduce the public at first glance, what it hides under its long hood will make even the most reluctant succumb. A 5-liter V12 engine developing 300 hp. Technological advances included automatic stability and traction control, speed-sensitive power steering and electronic damping control.
Our example was delivered new in 1991. In good condition throughout, it has always been serviced and maintained. Recently, the tires and brakes were replaced. A true high-flying GT, this 850i represents a great opportunity when compared to the price of its modern equivalent.
