As one of only 47 LHD examples, this Bentley Azure was a special order by TFi Buchillon S.A. The order was placed in August 2002 and the whole build process was photographically documented. The car was finally handed over to its proud first owner on the 16th of January 2003 through Garage l’Athénée in Geneva. Painted in “Wildberry” with a colour matching soft top, opulent light brown “Barley” leather interior and generous wood veneer applications in a special colour, the Bentley shines with just about every available luxury period feature. As a final series model the Azure is powered by a monstrous 6.8 litre turbo V8 engine delivering 426 hp coupled to an automatic 4 speed gearbox which drives the 18 inch rear wheels. Based on all the extras ordered by its first owner, the new price of the car most likely easily exceeded 500’000 Swiss francs. The special colour as well as all the options were probably the reason why this final-series Azure was used as a press demonstrator for the 2003 model year. The noble convertible was enthusiastically used during summertime and was always well maintained as shown with the complete service booklet. The last major service was completed in May 2022 at 43’138 kilometres. In June 2023 the car was taken over by the 2nd and so far last owner who certainly enjoyed those summer outings. With two owners and 44’000 kilometres driven, this unique Bentley is in good to very good condition and the imposing cabriolet will be handed to a new owner with the last MOT completed in May 2023.
