Bentley wanted the new Arnage T to have the "honor" of being the fastest and most powerful sedan on the market at that time. Its maximum power is 457 hp at only 4,100 rpm, more than the BMW 760, the Audi A8 W12 or the more powerful version of the Mercedes S-Class, the S63 AMG. It was the most powerful Bentley for sale to the public that had ever existed.
