Beschreibung
"The Bentley Arnage Green Label was produced between 1999 and 2005. It was part of the Arnage line, which was introduced in 1998 as a replacement for the ageing Bentley Turbo R and Bentley Brooklands models. The Green Label variant was powered by a BMW V8 engine, which provided a smooth and refined driving experience. This engine was a departure from the traditional Bentley engine, which had been used for decades. However, the BMW engine was well-suited for the Arnage and offered ample power and torque. The exterior design of the Arnage Green Label was elegant and understated, with classic Bentley styling cues such as the large grille and round headlamps. The interior was luxurious and featured high-quality materials, including wood, leather, and chrome. Comfort and convenience features were plentiful, with amenities such as heated seats, a premium sound system, and a navigation system.
Following Volkswagen’s purchase of Bentley Motors from Vickers on 28th July 1998, the late Paul Anthony Wood of the famous Rolls-Royce and Bentley historic restorers, P & A Wood, decided to order as his personal transport one of the new Arnages sporting the wholly new state of the art BMW 4.4 litre engines in place of the, by then, outdated 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce engine. It was Paul Woods’ experience and taste in specifying the restrained colours both internally and externally that created the magnificent example on offer today. Originally registered in September 1998, this early Green Label version presents in the subtle colour combination of Meteor metallic coachwork with a Stratos interior. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a valid MoT test certificate and the original owners book pack and service book showing 14 service stamps. This stunning Bentley offers extreme luxury for a modest outlay.
