Based on the Fiat 500, the Autobianchi Bianchina was launched in September 1957 at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. Production continued until 1970 and all were powered by a two-cylinder Fiat petrol engine. There were about half a dozen body styles on offer, including saloons, coupés, convertibles, estate cars, and vans. The vans could be ordered as a panelled version of the estate, as a Furgoncino, or "high roof", and were popular with businesses across Italy.

This example, a Bianchina Furgoncino, had its Certificato Origine issued on 2 May 1967 and on 12 June was registered to a company in Padova. Residing there for the first six years of its life, the Bianchina changed hands in August 1973 and was registered in the name of two men in Treviso. The duo sold this Autobianchi in December 1982 to the fourth owner—also residing in Treviso—who retained it until 2011, when it was acquired by the previous owner. It is believed that under their care, this Furgoncino was fully restored and painted in the wonderful two-tone green Castrol colours complemented by company logos.
