DESCRIPTION
Austin Metro MG from 1983 - 1275 cc engine - ASI Certificate of Historicity. Competition set-up (winner of Mono-brand Championship in Zandvoort),
enhanced engine and tuned set-up (Weber carburettor, air filter, oil radiator, intake manifold, cylinder head, camshaft, brake hoses, engine mounts, rear shock absorbers, hydrogas suspension calibration).
Recently restored mechanics and body, rebored alloy rims, new tyres. Only 100 km driven since restoration.
Possibility of reinstalling the Rollbar (not included) for “historical competitive” use. The rollbar was removed for the car registration and roadworthiness (essential in Italy).
All changes were originally implemented in the Netherlands and maintained during the restoration. A car with high performance and a fun sport drive. Very rare and unique. Inspection valid until the end of July 2018. Many body and interior spare parts come from another Metro model.
