Healey 3000 race car period F
This honest and genuine Healey 3000 was restored and built as a race car about 20 years ago from a very good restoration project. It was initially built to run in Period E but up-graded some 10 years ago to Period F including Webers, straight cut gear kit, LSD, 6” minilites etc.
The car has never had any serious incident or damage – only a few contacts easily fixed.
Full race 285bhp engine including:
CNC machined aluminium head
Sideways Race 3 cam
Steel crank and rods (latest version from Sideways)
Forged race pistons
Steel flywheel
Super damper
Race clutch – AP Racing

Gearbox and rear axle
Straight cut Sebring gear kit, competition overdrive
LSD and uprated half shafts

Suspension, steering, brakes and fuel system
Race springs all round and anti-roll bar from Sideways. Dual circuit brakes with balance bar, digital balance monitors and discs al round. Steering rebuilt and modified with crash-section.
50 litre foam filled aluminium tank with double Facet pumps and Filter King regulator feeding triple genuine Italian Weber 45 DCOEs.

Exterior and interior
The body shows wear of racing and light touches but does this in an honest revealing way (no plastic padding show fixing here). Windscreen is heated but unfortunately has a crack. Lightweight racing hardtop. The interior and dash is driver optimized for visualization and access. Tillet race seat and 6 point harness.
The car presents itself as an honest fully loaded race Healey with all the goods bits included. It has never done any hard wearing long distance racing and has been used at an average of 2-3 sprint race events over the last 10 years. Extra set of wheels included.
Very competitively priced to sell.
