The San Francisco dealer CA. received this vehicle in on the 18th January 1963. Fairly soon afterwards the Austin Healey was registered to its first owner. We know that a Mr. Brown of California kept the car from 1973 4 to 2002 (28 years) after which it was exported to Denmark. The car remained in Denmark until a few years ago when the last owner in Portugal bought it. This Mk2 is a past partial restoration and remains in good condition. The underbody has been untouched and is totally original! The Heritage certificate confirms the chassis, engine and body marry together well and in fact all have matching numbers. Due to the car's great mechanical properties it is a true feast to drive. The Healey Blue/White finish is in good order with small user marks. The underbody is rust-free and the interior trim of original 'Blue’ exudes the correct patina. In the documentation papers are Mr. Brown’s registration documents, the Danish registration and the current Portugese registration as well as the aforementioned Heritage certificate.
