This rare performance station car, developped together with Porsche and built in only 2’891 examples, was delivered in Switzerland through MOFAG Volketswil. After two owners the RS2 was taken over by the vendor in 1999. He is an automotive mechanic and therefore knew how to properly maintain and cherish such a car. A defective speedometer was replaced at 95’000 kilometres, therefore the 60’000 kilometres shown correspond to a true mileage of 155’000 kilometres. The beautiful Audi/Porsche with it’s Emerald pearl-effect paint is equipped with a leather interior, electrically adjusted and heated Recaro sport seats, a sliding roof, air conditioning and an original Porsche CR 22 radio. The headlining, a known problem with this model, was replaced in 2022. The charismatic 5-cylinder turbo engine was optimised and tuned by Lehmann motor-technique in Triesen and provides seamless acceleration without turbo lag. A major service including new timing belt and new water pump was carried out in November 2020. The six-speed gearbox shifts faultlessly and the Porsche breaking system provides the necessary stopping power. The car is in very good and well maintained original condition and will be sold with a complete document map and a full service history. The last MOT was performed in May 2023.
