Beschreibung

"This car can be viewed in person from 14th to 18th July 2020 at our the auction site, Windsorview Lakes, Datchet, SL3 9HY
A total of 1,086 Vanquish S models were manufactured between 2005 and 2007 and was debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Offering a power increase from 460bhp to 520bhp, other changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape, new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler and the addition of a small front splitter for aerodynamic reasons which help the Vanquish S boast an improved drag coefficient. The car also featured an optional Sports Dynamic Package which incorporated sportier suspension, steering and larger brakes than the slandered V12 Vanquish. With a top speed exceeding 200mph, the Vanquish S was, at the time, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced.
This Aston Martin was reportedly originally specified for and driven by Dr. Ulrich Bez, the then CEO of Aston Martin. Rumour has it that he came across the Morning Frost colour and liked it so much he decided this would be the only Vanquish built in that colour. The car was driven by Bez and occasionally used as a press car. This car has been heavily photographed over the years and featured on the front and rear cover of EVO magazine, the original registration number was KX05 BWU. A second Vanquish was manufactured in 2007 for Dr. Bez, this was also in Morning Frost and it is known a small number of Vanquishes were produced and sent to the Middle East towards the end of the production run, making the colour extremely rare.
This Aston Martin had a rather Germanesque green check interior and in 2008 the car was sent by renowned trimmer Afzal Kahn to Germany to be retrimmed in the black guise it is in today. Supplied with a V5C registration document and the original service books showing 14 stamps, we are advised by the vendor she will be serviced and have a fresh MoT test certificate prior to the auction. The vendor has looked after this car extremely well throughout his nine years of ownership, having fitted new ignition coils, tyre pressure sensors, air conditioning pump, clutch and ASM pump and a new set of correct purpose made Yokohama tyres. The registration number of JOO 7Y is supplied with the vehicle.
The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day."
