Beschreibung
The Aston Martin Vanquish, when launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2001, heralded the start of a brave new era for Aston Martin, under the leadership of the then CEO, Dr Ulrich Bez and introduced to the world a new styling direction and a raft of technological developments.
Between 2001 and 2007, a mere 2578 V12 Vanquish were produced at the historic Newport Pagnell factory, the last ever model to be produced at those works before production moved to the new factory at Gaydon, in Warwickshire. In the Autumn of 2004, Aston Martin introduced the Vanquish S. With cosmetic updates, an increase in power to 520bhp and revisions to suspension, brakes and suspension, the Vanquish S became a 200mph car, going on to sell a total of 1086 examples (out of the total of 2,578 V12 Vanquish).
It is now valid to say that the Vanquish and Vanquish S are one of the most important models in Aston Martin’s history, securing its future and increasing its global profile. Now sought after by enthusiasts and collectors worldwide and emerging as a ‘Modern Classic’.
The superb example we are pleased to now offer is well known to us, having supplied it to its second owner in 2011 and maintaining it annually since. Having been cherished by its previous owner and stored in a climate-controlled environment, it is in superb condition throughout. Finished in Tungsten Silver over Obsidian Black hides, optional specification includes grey brake calipers, body colour door release, 2+2 seating arrangement, heated front screen, SatNav, powerfold exterior mirrors, Integral telephone system, rear parking sensors, heated front seats and front stoneguards.
Supplied with a service to the manufacturers schedule and pre-delivery preparation by our own workshops, with its extensive history folder containing all service and MOT correspondence.
