Beschreibung
The outside of this V8 is finished in a fantastic shade of gun metal gray. It shall be said multiple times throughout this listing, this car is a project. However, we were particularly surprised by how well the paint has been preserved. This V8 also has some kind of performance package, coming with an extended front bumper and ducktail spoiler at the rear. It is quite aggressive looking; we absolutely love it. Another area worth mentioning are the wheels. All four of them appear to have been plasti-dipped, and the plasti-dip on all four wheels appears to now be peeling off.
The inside is the real problem area. The interior to this beautiful V8 has been torn apart. The leather on the driver and passenger seats have cracked in certain areas, all the way through to the foam. A huge chunk of leather is missing from the driver’s seat, and some of the exposed foam has been torn away as well. This trend of cracked leather continues up the backrests of both seats as well. The rear seats are actually in good condition, but whatever panel held the backrests is now gone. Likely to make space for all of the boxes stored inside. It should be mentioned that this vehicle comes with a ton of spare parts, likely belonging to the car itself. All the contents stored in the car have been documented and the photographs are available below. The door panels are also missing. The steering wheel has seen better days as some of the stitching appears to be coming loose. The dashboard and gauges are clean. The radio appears to have been removed. No floormats means a better view of the floorboards, which don’t seem to be suffering from any corrosion damage.
This V8 was delivered to Marietta, Georgia in 1978, and was originally painted Raven Black, built to US specifications, and came with standard Ayon tires. The car eventually made its way up to New Jersey and was painted Slate Blue Metallic along the way. When the car was purchased by the seller in 2011, the odometer read 79,608 miles. Sometime between 2011 and 2021 the car received a third paintjob and went from Slate Blue to the Gun Metal Gray shade it currently sports.
