1997 Aston Martin ‘Wide Bodied’ Volante

Last model, ultra-low mileage and quite possibly the best preserved, maintained and cherished example of the Volante we have seen.

Built at the end of production in 1997, finished in Porsche Midnight Blue with Parchment Connolly hide, piped in Navy Blue. One of the last 10 manufactured, named simply as ‘Volante’, with the more powerful 95 prefix V8 engine, as fitted to the V8 Coupe, and equipped with 4 speed automatic transmission.

An original ‘Wide Bodied’ example cosmetically identical to the ultra-rare 6.3 Virage Volante, equipment includes 18’’ OZ polished alloy wheels, power operated triple layer hood in Navy Blue, automatic air conditioning, air bag safety steering wheel, ABS braking and 8 way heated and electric seats.

With only 15,000 miles from new, annual servicing and maintenance has been carried out by Aston Martin Works and respected AM specialists, to a meticulous standard. This outstanding condition example, from the last era of ‘coach-built’ Aston Martin production, is a tribute to previous custodian’s care and attention in ownership. Now being appreciated as the consummate ‘Grand Tourer’, which the Volante is, this distinctively specified example, is highly recommended.

Accompanying the car is a highly detailed history file, containing factory build, service and maintenance records, MoT certificates 2001 onward and background data record. All original tools, jack and warning triangle are included, along with the original owner’s handbook, stamped service voucher book, spare keys and a custom fit Aston Martin car cover.
