Breaking cover at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2011, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato marked the 50th anniversary of the DB4 GT Zagato and the enduring partnership between Gaydon and the Italian carrozzeria. Launched first in competition “Corsa” specification, the road-going “Stradale” followed a year later. The supercar was engineered by a team that had contributed heavily to the One-77 and featured a striking all-aluminium body, while beneath the coachwork lay the 510 brake-horsepower 5.9-litre V-12 engine shared with the DBS. An initial run of 150 was slated, but by the time production had drawn to a close just 61 V12 Zagatos had been built.

Among them was the example offered here—serial number one—which left the factory in 2012 finished in the tasteful combination of Alloro Green over a Sahara Tan and Arctic Blue hide interior. Acquired by the consigning seller from the original owner, this striking V12 Zagato has been used sparingly, with the odometer reading just 1,228 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. Immaculately presented, this rare and highly collectable V12 Zagato is in showroom condition.
