Aston Martin DBS Volante 770 Ultimate by Q – Minotaur Green

Even saying goodbye is done in style at Aston Martin: this absolutely unique (!) and brilliantly configured DBS Volante 770 Ultimate by Q is the ultimate farewell model of the current DBS series, making it the perfect “Bond car.” Other gentlemen drivers will also be eager to feel like a true 007 behind the wheel of 770 hp. With compliments from Q included! Naturally, the edition is limited to ensure exclusivity. Of the 499 Ultimate examples, only 199 Volantes were made worldwide. Bet there isn’t one as beautiful as ours? With its ultra-low mileage, the mighty V12 has barely been broken in. The carbon-ceramic brakes haven’t had to show their impressive stopping power often. And it doesn’t take much to be pinned mercilessly into the Carbon Performance Seats. Plus, the full Carbon Package reminds you just how insanely fast this luxury DBS is. Exterior

Not British Racing Green, but Minotaur Green for this stunning machine. To make the already exclusive color even more striking, Aston Martin added 21-inch Satin Black Ultimate Wheels with Bronze Brake Calipers. Additional contrast comes from the Black Convertible Hood, Black Chrome Badges, matte black exhaust tips, High Gloss grille trim, and a mountain of carbon fiber. Straight from the factory, the DBS Volante 770 Ultimate by Q comes with Upper and Lower Body Carbon Packages, meaning the front lip + splitters, side skirts, hood vents + fenders, mirrors, A-pillars, trunk spoiler, rear bumper, and diffuser are all carbon-made. A jaw-dropping specification! And that’s before you consider that the DBS is already a design masterpiece.

Interior

This gorgeous DBS Volante keeps your eyes glued, and Aston Martin added plenty of reasons to step inside. Part of that lies in the power upgrade, but the cockpit itself is so beautifully enhanced that entering feels irresistible. Behind the half-upward-opening doors awaits a fairy-tale interior with Ultimate badges on the sill plates and center armrest, Q Ivory Gold metallic stitching, and DBS logos on the headrests of the Carbon Performance Seats. The seats are wrapped in Q Centenary Saddle Tan leather, while the Oxford Tan floor perfectly complements the brown leather door panels and lower dashboard. Black leather and Alcantara accents (steering wheel!) combined with a carbon-fiber overload (steering wheel, seats, instrument panel, center console, doors, vents, etc.) create a tasteful yet thrilling ambiance inside the Volante. Simply breathtaking!

Technology & Performance

We can’t promise you’ll stay dry on an exhilarating ride in this DBS Volante with 770 hp from the twin-turbo V12. Engineers even squeezed an extra 45 hp out of the 5.2-liter engine by increasing turbo pressure by 7%. The 900 Nm of torque flows through 8-speed transmission to the rear wheels, allowing the Volante 770 Ultimate to sprint 0–100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Top speed reaches 340 km/h, identical to the coupe, proving the soft-top’s aerodynamics are just as refined. And with the roof down? The experience is unparalleled, accompanied by the immense roar of the V12. A limited-slip differential and carbon-ceramic brakes ensure this beauty stays under control. The only thing missing?
