If there was ever a model that defined the start-up sequence on the instrument display of Aston Martins, ‘Power, Beauty, Soul’, well the manual DBS must be it! In recent years, highly sought after by drivers and enthusiasts of the marque, we are now delighted to offer this excellent example, finished in the original model launch colour of Lightning Silver over Obsidian Black hides with Cirrus Grey Alcantara inserts.

The DBS model was first introduced to the world in Daniel Craig’s debut 007 movie, Casino Royale, where it played a starring role. The reaction to the menacing DBS, worldwide, was spectacular with Aston Martin dealers enjoying full order books on launch. Customer deliveries of the DBS commenced in 2007.

Whilst related to the DB9, the DBS packed a lot more punch. The normally aspirated V12 engine produced 510bhp and for the first time in the marque’s history, Carbon Ceramic Brake discs. The DBS was also considerably lightened with the use of carbon fibre for some body panels.

Initially, no doubt to differentiate the DBS from the DB9 and to position the model within the company’s product line up as the more dynamic, focused model, the DBS was originally only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Being one of the last sports GT cars available with a V12 engine and manual transmission, it is this configuration, in particular, that has gone on to be much lusted after by the enthusiast motoring community.

It is one of those cars that we now offer for sale. First registered in March 2009, this particular car features numerous optional extras including 2+0 seating, Piano Black fascia panel, Garage door opener and auto dim mirror and 20 spoke wheels.
