Beschreibung
"This car can be viewed in person from 14th to 18th July 2020 at our the auction site, Windsorview Lakes, Datchet, SL3 9HY
Aston Martin remains one of the few car manufacturers not owned by a global conglomerate and it is partially down to this that makes them what they are today. Individual sporting leviathans, the envy of every schoolboy, past and present, the company retains the ability to pursue its own agenda with the ability to make manufacturing decisions in a fraction of the time compared to their rivals. It is no accident that they are still the chosen marque of the world’s favourite British secret agent.
This exquisitely sculptured Aston Martin benefits from a near continuous MoT history testifying to its low mileage as well as a virtually complete service history initially by Aston Martin main agents, Lancaster Reading, then latterly by Bamford Rose, Aston Martin specialists and more recently, Newlands Motors, again highly respected Aston Martin specialists who carried out a full service and issued a fresh MoT test certificate. The comprehensive history file also includes documents stretching back throughout its early life with invoices from Chiltern Aston in Hertfordshire. Adding a touch of luxury, the car is supplied with a set of bespoke luggage consisting of two hard cases designed specifically for the boot, each with the chassis number engraved on a chromium plate, two soft bags designed for the corners and two further soft bags for the rear seating area. Crafted from Moonstone Bridge of Weir leather in Parliament Green, the luggage took an incredible two years to make. This most elegant of motor cars benefits from the rare six-speed manual gearbox, and has recently been fitted with a new clutch. With a price tag just shy of £117,000 when new, this rare example represents outstanding value.
The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day."
