“Car delivered new in France, low mileage!”
The 2004 Detroit Motor Show provided the Newport Pagnell-based firm with the opportunity to unveil its latest model: the open-top version of the DB9. It naturally bears the name ‘Volante’, evoking Aston Martin’s glory days… The engine remains the 5.9-litre V12 producing 450 ch, and thanks to the use of an aluminium body and alloy panels, the weight is kept to a minimum.
Our example was delivered new in France in this elegant colour combination of Tungsten Silver with dark grey upholstery and soft top. It was then registered in Paris, a region it would never leave!
In 2016, having had only two previous owners and with just under 34,500 km on the clock, it joined the current owner’s collection, who was captivated by the elegance of its colour scheme. The car had by then undergone a full service at Aston Martin Paris, at a cost of around €10,000!
Today, this DB9 is in superb condition and has just under 47,000 km on the clock… Its service history shows the regular and ongoing maintenance the owner has carried out over the last 10 years, including a most recent service invoice from GGA garage in July 2025.
With its superb colour scheme, this front-engined V12 Aston convertible is a strong contender for inclusion in a major collection seeking a future collector’s item!
