Beschreibung

- No 39 of 99
- Rare 6-Speed Manual Gearbox
- Coachwork by Zagato of Italy

The DBAR1 was first unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show in early January 2003 after confidential viewings to potential customers. A very limited production run of 99 was then planned and within a mere three months all 99 had been allocated to eager customers.

The DB AR1 was primarily designed for the US/American Market hence the acronym ‘AR’ meaning American Roadster and falls into the definition of a ‘Roadster’ rather than a ‘Volante’ due to the absence of a convertible roof.

The example we have here was originally destined for the United States of America before being re-imported to Great Britain in 2005.
Aston Martin Works is proud to offer this rare and collectible model for sale. The example we have here was originally delivered and registered in the United States of America before being re-imported to Great Britain in 2005. Car number 39 of 99, finished in Antrim Blue with a Dark Grey leather interior comes with an interesting history file, detailing MOT’s and other such invoice from when the DBAR1 was re-imported back into Great Britain as well as the relevant documentation concerning the Re-importation.

This is a rare opportunity for the serious Zagato or Aston Martin collector to acquire what can be almost impossible to find in the UK or Europe.
