Vehicle history:

Towards the end of the production period, two strictly limited versions of the DB7 were introduced: the DB7 Vantage Zagato and the DB AR1, of which only 99 were produced each. For both Andrea Zagato created a new body, but technically they correspond largely to the Vantage versions. While the DB AR1 was designed in the style of a classic roadster without a canopy, but otherwise technically similar to the DB7 Volante - optionally with the powertrain of the DB7 GT - the wheelbase was shortened at Zagato and the weight was significantly reduced to an even sportier orientation than to reach the DB7 GT. Both Zagato models are pure two-seater.
This Aston Martin DB7 GT Zagato was delivered to its first owner Mr. Hammer in Aachen in 2004 via the importer Hauswirth Exclusiv. In 2010 he was sold and has since been in the hand of an Aston Martin collector.Today he presents himself immaculately with a fresh servie trough Aston Martin Düsseldoerf.. The rare coupe is an absolute collector vehicle.

Fahrzeughistorie:

Gegen Ende der Produktionszeit wurden zwei streng limitierte Versionen des DB7 vorgestellt: der DB7 Vantage Zagato und der DB AR1, von denen nur je 99 Exemplare entstanden. Für beide schuf Andrea Zagato eine neue Karosserie, technisch entsprechen sie aber weitgehend den Vantage-Versionen. Während der DB AR1 im Stil eines klassischen Roadsters ohne Vollverdeck ausgelegt wurde, ansonsten technisch aber weitgehend dem DB7 Volante – wahlweise mit dem Antriebsstrang des DB7 GT – glich, wurde beim Zagato der Radstand gekürzt und das Gewicht deutlich reduziert, um eine noch sportlichere Ausrichtung als beim DB7 GT zu erreichen. Beide Zagato-Modelle sind reine Zweisitzer.
Dieser Aston Martin DB7 GT Zagato ist in Aachen 2004 über den Importeur Hauswirth Exclusiv an seinen ersten Besitzer ausgeliefert worden. 2010 wurde er weiterverkauft an einen Aston Martin Sammler. Heute präsentiert er sich makellos mit frischen Service ausgeführt durch Aston Martin Düsseldorf. Das seltene Coupé ist ein absolutes Sammlerfahrzeug.
