The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most famous cars in the world the choice of Bond James Bond 007. With the world watching the specially equipped DB5 with machine guns, smoke screen, revolving number plate and everyone's favourite the ejector seat would defeat the villains and made everyone want these iconic cars.

But even without the Bond connection the car is immensely desirable with breathtaking looks and astonishing performance to match.
Very few of the DB5 were produced with only 1,021 built and rarely changing hands this is a true collectors dream.

This example presented in Silver Birch over its original Dark Blue Connolly leather trim is ready to enjoy having had a sympathetic restoration lasting 5 years and recently received a full mechanical overhaul. Highly equipped for the time featuring four-wheel disc brakes, independent wishbone suspension with a live rear axle, oil cooling, twin fuel tanks, chrome wire wheels and electric windows.
The lightweight tubular framed body fitted with an aluminium DOHC 4 litre straight six with upgraded Weber carburettors now exceeding the factory's 282Hp driven through a 5 Speed ZF manual transmission provides serious performance with a 0-100km/h time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 233km/h.

Featuring a Webasto sun roof a handy accessory for when fitted with the optional ejector seat.
On the inside this car is a place of beauty with correct Smiths gauges and time piece, door trims, timber rimmed steering wheel and the gear shifter all examples of a truly original car.

Supplied with an Aston Martin Heritage Trust certificate, restoration documents, registration certificates, toolkit and spare wheel.
From a collectors point this car has excellent provenance and a matching number engine. But as one of the most recognisable and desirable and ever in creasing classic sports cars of all time this is a must have.
